Permanent residence permit in Denmark

We'll assess the options in your case before we get started, so you have an idea of the outcome. You must pay a deposit of DKK 6,000 before we start the thorough assessment. This will be deducted from the final price.

THIS IS HOW THE PROCESS IS WITH US

Our lawyers always make sure to gather all relevant information and documents before the lawyer initiates an application. We will assess the possibilities of getting an application approved and, if necessary, make a concrete plan for the further process and prepare a letter to the Danish Immigration Service, where we go through everything and argue for a permanent residence permit. We will also handle all correspondence with the agency until the final decision in the case.

 

You must fulfill the following conditions:

  • You must meet the conditions of your residence permit
  • You must be at least 18 years old
  • You must have lived legally in Denmark for eight years
  • You must not have committed a crime
  • You must not have debt to the public sector.
  • You must not have received public benefits for four years prior to the decision and until the decision on permanent residence is made
  • You must sign a declaration on integration and active citizenship in Denmark
  • As a minimum, you must have passed a test in Danish 2
  • You must have worked full-time for at least 30 hours in Denmark for at least three years and six months within the last four years prior to the decision on permanent residence.
  • You must also be working or in education when the decision is made
  • In addition, you must pass at least two out of four additional conditions

 

Your application must be submitted to theDanish Immigration Service. A fee must be paid to the Danish Immigration Service in connection with the application.

 

POSSIBILITIES FOR DISPENSATION

Special rules apply if you are a state pensioner, disability pensioner, disabled or have a residence permit under EU law as a family member of a wife or husband who is a Danish citizen.
